Milbank Industrial Electric Co provides a comprehensive armature and motor repair & rewinding service. Our Kawerau facilities enable us to rewind all types of AC motors & generators up to 45MW in our workshop or larger machines on site.

Milbank Industrial Electric repair, service and test low, medium and high voltage starters and switch gear. A specialist team of registered electricians is available for the repair, servicing and testing of isolating switches, circuit breakers and motor starters.
Primary injection testing & calibration of circuit breakers up to 30,000 Amps. We also manufacture motor starter panels and control equipment to suit your application.

Milbank Industrial Electric Co is accredited by IANZ (International Accreditation New Zealand) for the inspection of electrical equipment in hazardous atmospheres to AS/NZS 3800. Our accreditation scope includes the modification, repair & overhaul of electrical equipment for explosive atmospheres, with endorsements Exd, Exe, Exn and Extd (formally DIP) classifications. Legislation requires that any repair and or overhaul of equipment for explosive atmospheres shall be completed by an accredited workshop.
